Shaolin Wushu Cultural Center India, located in South part of Bengaluru City was founded in the year 2006 by Shifu Keerthi (Shi Yan Ban - 34th Generation Shaolin Disciple under the venerable Abbott of Shaolin Temple, Shi Yongxin. SWCCI's curriculum includes Shaolin Quan (traditional Shaolin boxing), Shuai Jiao (Wrestling), Sanda, Hard and Soft Qi Gong, Meditation, and Modern Wushu with comprehensive, structured and well-balanced programs designed for people of different ages and physical aptitude.
Shifu Keerthi, started his Wushu Training from when he was 18 years old. Being an avid athlete his interest in Oriental Arts took him to the Epicenter of Chinese Martial Arts, Shaolin Temple. Shifu Keerthi trained under different Shaolin Masters to hone his skills in Sanda, wrestling, Traditional Taolu, basic calligraphy and Shaolin Traditional Weapons. Shifu Keerthi is 34th Generation Shaolin Temple Disciple under the Shaolin Temple Abbott Shi Yongxin and has won many accolades and medals in national and international level competitions.
